biography: mathias lexicon

Mathias Lexicon first heard the sound of techno in his adoptive hometown of Detroit. An instant bond was formed, that has strengthened over the years. In the early 90's Mathias moved to El Paso Texas. In Texas he transformed himself into a promoter/dj to satisfy his own need to hear the music which he loved so much. In 2001, Mathias was lucky enough to host the first Perlon tour to North America (Markus Nikolai, Sammy Dee, Zip). Zip and Sammy Dee were so impressed with El Paso that they named a song after an experience they had in El Paso (Super Longevity 2/DoubleDip Uhh). It was an equally impressive meeting for Mathias. Within a year Mathias began collecting equipment and making music. Living in the middle of the desert has it's and disadvantages. Your unable to interact with that many people that have the same drive and passion for the music that you have, but at the same time your able to learn and grow as an artist at your own pace. In 2005, Mathias began getting noticed by some talented producers in his field. "It's a great feeling when someone you really respect stops and takes notice of what you're trying to do". His first vinyl release will be out in early 2006.
